Kids Bites: Easy-Freezy Banana Dessert

kb79I scream you scream, we all scream for ice cream! Learn how to make creamy and nutritious ‘ice cream’ with just one ingredient—bananas!

Ingredients

Several overripe bananas

Mix-In Ideas (optional)

Peanut butter, chopped nuts, honey, sprinkles or Nestle® Dark Chocolate Morsels

Instructions

Peel the bananas and cut into evenly-sized small slices. Place in an airtight container or freezer bag and freeze for at least two hours, or until frozen. In a powerful blender or food  processor, blend frozen banana slices for several minutes until creamy. Add mix-ins and  enjoy immediately while soft or freeze longer for a more solid texture.
