Craving a new and tasty after-school snack? Ask an adult to help you make these Apple Raisin Sandwiches to refuel after a busy day. Try eating them for breakfast or before your next big game too!
PREP TIME: 5 minutes
MAKES: 2 servings
2 apples, cored and sliced into 6 rounds each
2 Tbsp. Weis Quality Natural Peanut Butter or WowButter®
2 tsp. Golden Blossom® Organic White Forest Honey
2 Tbsp. Weis Quality Seedless Raisins or dried cranberries
⅛ tsp. Weis Quality Ground Cinnamon
1 tsp. fresh lemon juice (optional)
Spread one side of 6 apple slices with peanut butter or WowButter®. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with raisins and cinnamon. Top with remaining apple slices, pressing down gently to make the sandwiches; serve. If making in advance, brush the apple slices with lemon juice first to prevent browning, then wrap tightly in plastic wrap and chill.
